Lawmakers wrapped up the 2015 state legislative session on Friday in Jefferson City. The senate ended its session after passing a multi million dollar Medicaid bill. However, the House was in session until almost 6pm and it was also the first day on the job for new Speaker of the House Todd Richardson following the resignation of John Diehl. Some of the highlights for the session include bipartisan education bill and municipal court reform. One disappointment for Republicans was not getting a transportation bill passed and Democrats were disappointed with failing to pass Right to Work.
