Next Monday will mark 1-year since Officer Kendle Blackburn succumbed to his battle with COVID 19.
A memorial service was conducted in 2021 and now the city’s Mayor, Jared Carr, is planning to honor the officer with a service and sacrifice proclamation on December 28th at the city council’s meeting.
Carr says that day is going to be now known as “Officer Kendle Blackburn Day.”
Blackburn was known in the community as one of the “Kindest” and “Friendliest” members of the Lebanon Police Department.
