Lebanon Residents Spend Holiday Weekend Protecting The Flag

A number of residents in the Lebanon area spent the 4^th of July weekend staying up late, to protect the American Flag.

Speaking to KY 3 TV, they say it was a small price to pay.

The massive flag flew all weekend long at the Laclede County Courthouse to celebrate Independence Day.

Last year, vandals attempted to burn a similar flag at the courthouse, which led to these local residents vowing to protect it day and night this year.
