Lebanon Teen Dead, Three Others Injured in Car Wreck

A Lebanon teenager is dead and three others injured, two seriously, after a one-car accident early Saturday afternoon in Laclede County. The highway patrol says a 17-year-old girl was driving the car which ran off Rockwell Drive, north of Evanston Drive, before overturning and striking a tree. A 16-year-old boy was pronounced dead at the scene while the driver and a 16-year-old girl were seriously hurt and flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. One other teen in the car, a 15- year-old boy, escaped with minor injuries. All four were wearing seat belts at the time.
