A Lebanon man is being deemed a hero by the Navajo Hopi Honor Riders group, after finding an honor flag that fell off a motorcycle on the interstate.
Trucker Robert Cruz, a Marine Corps Veteran, moves Tracker boats from Lebanon across the county.
Last week on his way back from Arizona, he saw something on the road…
Speaking to our news partner KY 3 TV, Cruz says he was familiar with the triangle flag box because his has one of his own, after his son committed suicide due to PTSD, shortly after returning home from Afghanistan.
Cruz contacted the riding group who had been frantically searching for the lost flag.
Two of their members traveled 17 hours from Arizona to Lebanon to retrieve the flag.
