The Lee C Fine Airport is going to get some new tenants. The Osage Beach Board of Aldermen approved terms of contract to sublease land at the airport, at their last meeting. Airport Manager Budd Hyde says these contracts have been in the works for years. The tenants will build and maintain private airplane hangars at the Airport.
The Board also approved renewing the contract with the company that maintains the instrument approach system at the airport. And, the Board authorized Mayor Penny Lyons to sign a State Block Grant agreement with MoDOT to perform environment assessment services at the Grand Glaize Airport.
The City of Osage Beach is going to put a new stop sign at the intersection of Highway 54 and Key Largo Road. MoDOT is working on paving Key Largo, and the sign will be placed there, when the project is complete.
