Leonard Wilson Sentenced in Federal Court on Child Porn Charge

Eight years in federal prison without the possibility of parole…the sentence ordered for 41-year-old Leonard Jerome Wilson on a charge of receiving child pornography. As part of the plea deal on the federal level, Wilson was also required to enter guilty pleas in two related state cases in Camden County, serve 10 years supervised release following his incarceration and surrender his peace officer license. It had been alleged that Wilson, at the time, committed his offenses on and off duty possessing a cell phone which contained 18 images of child porn and 49 images of child erotica involving infants, toddlers and pre-pubescent children. Wilson is to formally enter pleas on his Camden County charges in Morgan County, on a change of venue, on the 27^th of this month.
