All the residents of the town of Craig have been ordered to evacuate by noon today. Flood water began to flow toward the town, yesterday, after one levee was overtopped and a breach opened in the Big Tarkio River, near its mouth at the Missouri. There are about 300 people who live in the northwest Missouri town. One of the next issues, downstream, is a 16 mile levee protecting Rosecrans Memorial Airport. Officials there say it’s in good shape, so far.
