A Linn Creek organization that provides care for abandoned and abused horses needs hay. Connie Hendrix, who runs the Forget-Me-Not Horse Rescue and Sanctuary says the drought has her horses already eating their winter hay supply. She says they need donations … of hay, or money to buy the feed. Two fundraisers are planned — a garage sale August 3rd and 4th on A Road next to Mini Mart, and an ice cream social and pie auction August 18th at Community Christian Church in Camdenton.
