BREAKING:
Linn Creek Police Chief Greg Berry has been arrested by the Highway Patrol on a misdemeanor warrant for 4th degree domestic assault. The 49-year-old was suspended from the police department since early October when the incident, allegedly, happened pending the outcome of the investigation. The case was referred to the Missouri State Attorney General’s office which requested a summons or warrant with a warrant being issued on Thursday of this week. Subsequently, both of the associate circuit judges in Camden County recused themselves and Judge Steven Jackson, from Laclede County, was appointed to hear the case. The charge filed against Berry, who has retained private counsel, is a class-A misdemeanor. Following his arrest, Berry was released after posting bond.
