A $100,000 low-interest loan from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources will help the Camden County Public Water Supply District No. 5 as it plans to construct additional grinder stations, manholes, cleanouts and valves to connect 15 homes in the Mission Hills West subdivision to the current wastewater collection system. The total cost of the project is estimated at $255,000 and work is expected to be completed in May. This loan will be financed through repayments of loans made from water pollution control bonds. A portion of the funding will be designated toward green infrastructure, water and energy efficiency and environmentally innovative projects.
