Extensive damage was done to a boat Saturday night following a collision with a fixed object. The Highway Patrol’s Water Division says 68 year old Russell Meyer of Grain Valley was operating the vessel while intoxicated and failed to keep proper lookout and struck a dock. The vessel came to rest on the dock with a large hole in the port side of the bow. No injuries were reported and Meyer was cited for Boating While Intoxicated. The incident occurred at 6.5 mile marker of the Gravois Arm.
