We often hear the words “good will toward men” during this season; well that’s exactly what happened last night to man who certainly needed some. According to a late night Facebook post from the Lake Ozark Police Department, a LOPD officer was patrolling the roadways when he saw a man walking with what appeared to be 3 layers of coats on. Upon stopping to talk with the man, the officer discovered that he had been sleeping outside because he was waiting on a money order so he can return to Florida and had no money left. The officer decided to take this man to a local motel and put him up for the night on his own cost. The officer selected the Shoreland Motel who also wanted to join in on the good will and only charged the LOPD officer the cost of cleaning the room and nothing more.
