The number of COVID 19 overall Positive cases at the Lake of the Ozarks has surpassed the 1,000 mark as of this morning.
According to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, there have been a total of 1,038 positive cases reported since March, of which 519 cases are from Camden, 245 in Miller, 156 in Benton and 118 in Morgan counties.
Despite the high count, the number of active cases remains low at 156 across the four counties, of which 71 are from Camden, 45 are from Miller, 24 are from Benton and 16 are from Morgan.
As of Friday, the local health departments reported that 822 people had since recovered and there have been 12 deaths from the Coronavirus.
