A Macks Creek man is injured after being in the wrong place at the right time. That’s according to the highway patrol which says 48-year-old Cary Creach was driving westbound on Hickory County Road 64 about six miles west of Cross Timbers when an eastbound SUV crossed over the center striking Creach’s pick-up truck. The accident happened shortly after 4:00 Monday afternoon, reportedly, with the SUV being involved in a pursuit at the time. The driver of the SUV was identified as 30-year-old Andrew Opsahl who, according to court records, is described as homeless. Creach suffered minor injuries in the accident and chose to seek his own treatment. When contacted by KRMS, the Hickory County Sheriff’s Department said that any information would have to be released by Sheriff Brian Whalen who was out of the office and unavailable at the time.
