Man Arrested In Connection To Laclede County Murder

A man is behind bars and facing charges in connection to a Laclede County Murder.

Officials say 28-year-old Dustin Lee Combs was found in Washington County, sleeping inside the Pickup Truck stolen from 57-year-old Mark Pitts, who was found dead in his home on July 2nd.

Investigators say they two met up for a drug deal hours before, but they believe there is more to the murder than just drugs.

He tells KY 3 TV that Combs’ brother told investigators that Combs has said to him that “all child molesters should be killed.”

Combs is currently being held on no bond but will see a judge for a bond hearing on Wednesday.
