A 25-year-old Lebanon man is now facing more charges after an alleged incident at the Mid-Missouri Health Center on the University of Missouri campus in Columbia where he was sent last week after being arrested last week in Miller County. University of Missouri Police say Joshua Mazelin was arrested on Monday after he yelled racial slurs at an African-American staff member and elbowed them in the eye. He is charged with a hate crime, assault and a parole violation. He is being held at the Boone County Jail on a bond of $5,000. Mazelin is also facing five charges, including assault and endangering the welfare of a child, after his arrest last week by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
