Man Faces Charges In Buffalo Love Triangle Shooting

A man is facing charges following a love triangle shooting in Buffalo.

Officials say they responded to a call of a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, officers found a 24-year-old woman who told police that her husband, 88-year-old Willard Davis had shot her ex-boyfriend, while they were in bed together.

She told investigators she awoke to the sound of a gunshot and saw her husband standing over her ex-boyfriend with a gun in his hand.

She also stated to police that he pointed the gun to her, but she grabbed it away from Davis.

The 31-year-old ex-boyfriend was transferred to a hospital with a gunshot wound to the face.

Davis was taken to a hospital for a mental evaluation and is facing charges of assault and armed criminal action.
