A homeless man facing first degree murder charges in the death of a Laclede County man has been charged with 1st degree murder in a separate case out of the state of Texas.
Officials report Texas investigators interviewed Dustin Lee Combs last week in the death of Franklin Cox after he allegedly confessed to that murder.
Combs, who has ties to the city of Lebanon, was charged in the murder of Mark Pitts following a sale of electronic items back in July.
Officials found Combs on July 12th driving Pitt’s pickup truck in Washington County with an armed handgun in his possession.
Sheriff David Milsap says Combs is also being looked at in the case of a beating and stabbing of an Arkansas Man.
