A man working in Osage Beach and out on parole is back in jail after being arrested by Osage Beach cops on Friday.
24 year old Shaun E. Bates was wanted on several warrants. Bates was apparently involved in a large fight back in March that involved baseball bats and one person being removed forcibly from a home. The Camden County Sheriff’s Department contacted the Osage Beach Police and made them aware of Bates’ location at a business on Passover Road. Police made the arrest Friday without further incident. Bates was wanted on a list of charges including class A felony kidnapping, felony armed criminal action, class B felony burglary, and class A and class C misdemeanor assault in the third degree. Back in 2007 Bates was convicted of class B felony stealing, 2 counts of class C felony 2nd degree burglary, and class C felony domestic assault.
