A man who fell from a cliff in Osage Beach Tuesday is being treated for serious head and chest trauma at a hospital in Columbia.
He had apparently fallen about 75 feet onto the rocky shoreline below the 1400 block of Bluff Drive. The rescue was carried out by first responders from the Osage Beach Fire Protection District, according to Deputy Chief Terry Paul, with help from other agencies:
Lake Ozark Fire paramedics transported the man by boat to Port Arrowhead Marina where a landing zone had been set up for Staff For Life helicopter.Officials say they’re still not sure how the man fell or when it actually happened:
