A Tuscumbia man accused of shooting and killing a teenager last December is free after posting reduced bond. Larry Micah Matthews is charged with second-degree murder and armed criminal action for the December 3rd shooting of 18-year old Dalton Bishop. He was released from jail Friday after posting a $100,000 surety bond. The bond reduction was granted over the objection of Prosecuting Attorney Ben Winfrey. The terms of Matthews’ release include that he cannot possess firearms, ammunition, or dangerous weapons. He’s also forbidden from having any contact with potential witnesses for the state.
