What started out Thursday afternoon as a reported burglary in Laclede County moves north into Camden County before becoming a manhunt when one suspect abandoned the getaway vehicle and ran on foot. Lieutenant Scott Hines, with the Camden County Sheriff’s Department, says there were four suspects in the vehicle when the pursuit began.
The active search for the fourth suspect, whose name is not being released at this time, was suspended around 8:30. That’s about five hours after the sequence of events began in the area of Camdenton Memorial Airport. The suspect was wearing a black t-shirt and camo pants and was believed to be armed with 22 and 9-millimeter handguns. Anyone with information on the suspect should immediately contact local law enforcement.
