A short manhunt led to one arrest in Lake Ozark Tuesday afternoon. The Lake Ozark Police received a call for a possible stolen credit card at Kohl’s and, upon arrival, the suspect had already fled. A short time later, the vehicle was located with two men inside. When they pulled over at the post office one of the men, identified as Timothy Huntsperger, ran. Chief Gary Launderville says multiple officers from the Highway Patrol, Lake Ozark, and Eldon searched the area.
Huntsperger had multiple warrants. The second man in the vehicle was later released. About five minutes after he was released, multiple people attending the City Aldermen meeting witnessed him attempting to gain access into Mayor Johnnie Franzeskos vehicle. He was escorted off the property.
