Law enforcement called off a manhunt near Lake of the Ozarks State Park Thursday morning. Sheriff Bill Abbott said the suspect is not armed and does not pose a danger to anyone in the area. Officials said the man’s family has been cooperating with law enforcement, which is why the manhunt was called off. The Miller County Sheriff said officials found a man wanted for several felony warrants in Kaiser Thursday morning. Abbott said the man saw the law enforcement vehicles and fled on foot, leaving his car at the state park. Abbott said the manhunt will pick back up if the suspect hasn’t turned himself in. The suspect, identified as Evan Gamm is wanted on six warrants.
