No charges will be filed, no punishment will be given. That was ruling that came out yesterday in regards to a substitute teacher from the Maries County Prosecuting Attorney Terry Schwartze. According to reports, Sheriff Chris Heitman investigated reports of a male substitute teacher who allegedly walked into the girls locker room at the Maries County R-2 School in Belle, while they were changing. Reports say that the girls requested he leave and he refused to do so. Schwartze says according to state law, there is not enough evidence to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt that the actions occurred. Superintendent of schools Patrick Call says the decision was the right thing to do.
