A 56-year-old man from Climax Springs lands in the Camden County Jail after being arrested on drug charges. The sheriff’s department’s Captain Chris Twitchell says deputies teamed up with members of the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group to conduct an investigation along Bollinger Creek Road. That investigation, allegedly, uncovered a large marijuana grow which consisted of 291 flowering plants and 140 starter plants along with an undisclosed amount of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Taken into custody was James Garr. Garr is charged with felony manufacturing of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance to go with a misdemeanor charge for possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $100,000.
