A setback last week for those hoping to get an issue on the November ballot to gain voter approval of, at least, medicinal marijuana in Missouri means business as usual for law enforcement in the Lake Area. Sergeant Scott Hines, with the Camden County Sheriff’s Department says, until the movement catches on, law enforcement will continue doing its job.
Over 10-thousand signatures on the petition drive were invalidated which, at least for the time being pending a court challenge, will keep the issue from going before the voters in the upcoming General Election.
