The Missouri Master Naturalist Program is accepting new members for the 2015 season. Every year Camden County and surrounding communities benefit from this one on one program put together through Missouri Department of Conservation. The 50 hour course teaches participants about Missouri’s resources and how to manage them. Volunteers must contribute 40 hours of service a year plus eight hours of advanced training annually to maintain their title. Those interested must be 18 years of age and older should contact Jackie Rasmussen at the University of Missouri Extension office or visit lakeozarkmasternaturalist.com. Enrollment is already underway for the classes which are scheduled to start in February.
