The May jobs report is out and things across the Show-Me-State are relatively unchanged. Missouri’s unemployment rate remained at 3.6% for the month. Total nonfarm payroll edged up slightly, adding 400 jobs. It’s the second straight month with relatively flat employment figures. Service jobs are up 1100 while manufacturing lost 1900 jobs. Public sector jobs are also up, with 1,000 jobs being added in local governments.
