Evidence, evidence and more evidence in day one of a triple murder trial in Camden County. 53-year old Morris McCabe of Lebanon is facing three counts of first degree murder in the deaths of Donald Young, Donald Meyer and Sally Amos. All three were found shot to death inside of Meyer’s mobile home on State Route T-T outside of Stoutland in December of 2010.
Yesterday (MONDAY), the prosecution presented forensic evidence collected at the scene including spent shell casings and bullets.
Three witnesses, two Camden County Sheriff’s Department Detectives and a Missouri Highway Patrol Investigator testified about that evidence.
Crime scene video and photos were also shown which led to quiet sobs in the court room from family members of the victims that were in attendance.
Day two of the trial starts tomorrow (TUESDAY) morning in Camden County Court.
