Have you ever seen a magician pull a rabbit of the hat? A Missouri lawmaker wants to make the trick a little easier. Under current federal regulations, magicians are required to file for a federal license to handle small amounts of rabbits for their act. To get the license, they have to develop a comprehensive emergency plan for their acts. State Senator Claire McCaskill is pushing for an exemption to the regulations. McCaskill is also asking to lift a ban on importing Mexican sheep, something she says has been requested by Missouri farmers at a series of town hall meetings.
