The second-degree murder case against Joseph McKenna will continue in a Miller County courtroom in November. McKenna, from Chicago, is charged in connection to the death of Tyler Worthington from the State of California. It’s alleged that Worthington and McKenna met up in Illinois before coming to Lake of the Ozarks to conduct their drug dealings. Sometime while the two were in the Lake Area, McKenna allegedly shot Worthington before dumping his body in the Tuscumbia area and returning to Chicago where he was, eventually, taken into custody. McKenna was arraigned in Miller County last week with his next court date set for November 7th. He’s being held on a $750-thousand bond with an added condition of GPS monitoring should he bond out.
