The Missouri Department of Conservation is making a few changes at their offices in Lebanon.

Officials say they’re reclassifying that office from just a “public contact” office to a “Field Office.”

Conservation officials say that means after 40+ years as a public office, it will no longer be open to the public.

They say the changes are a direct result of COVID 19, which has left the office un-staffed since April.

The changes will go into effect on November 2nd.
