MDC Officials Say Hunter Certifications Must Be Completed Before Fall Hunt

State officials are urging hunters to finish their hunter education classes before the fall hunting season starts.

The MDC says residents age 16 to 54, are required by law to obtain their hunter certifications before the season starts in September.

With COVID 19, those in-person classes have been disrupted, so MDC officials are working on an online course instead.

The Course will cost $20.
