The Department of Conservation wants to know what you think about plans for the Lamine River Conservation Area. The MDC is working on updates to their management plans for conservation areas around the state. The Lamine River Conservation Area covers over 6,000 acres in Cooper and Morgan Counties. That includes floodplain, river bluff, public recreational areas, and wildlife habitat. The draft management plan has been posted online and will remain up for public review and comment through November 30th.
