A state agency is working to try to keep kids interested in the great outdoors. The Missouri Department of Conservation offers several programs designed to peak or renew interests in outdoor activities, from hunting and fishing to archery and more. Travis Mills says it’s becoming a problem not just here, but everywhere.
Some of those activities include a free workshop coming up in Rolla for new turkey hunters, free fishing tournaments, and free fishing gear available for checkout like a library book at locations all across the state.
