The new zoning rules for medical marijuana facilities in Osage Beach are scheduled for their first official reading and vote at the next Board of Aldermen meeting. The regulations, which were approved by planning and zoning, recommend a 200-foot buffer zone between medical marijuana dispensaries and churches, primary schools, and daycare facilities. There are also guidelines in place for infusion centers, cultivation operations, and research centers. The board is also expected to pass second reading of an ordinance to participate in the statewide back-to-school sales tax holiday to be observed during the first weekend in August. The Osage Beach Board of Aldermen meets Thursday, June 6th at 6pm in Osage Beach City Hall.
