Mental Health First Aid Course Scheduled for March

Lake Regional is continuing their efforts to fight against mental health problems. They’ll be hosting another round of Mental Health First Aid training in March. The course is designed for dealing with young people ages 12-18. Topics covered include anxiety, depression, substance use, disruptive behavior disorders, and eating disorders, among others. Those who take the class will learn how to connect young people in a crisis with appropriate professional help. They’ll also learn how to help with peer, social, and self-help care.
