Lake area Mercedes-Benz drivers, listen up.

The company is recalling some 1.3 million cars because of a software glitch in the emergency call system is sending first responders to the wrong location.

The recall covers several vehicles from 2016 through 2021, including CLA, GLA, GLE, GLS, SLC, A, GT, C, E, S, CLS, SL, B, GLB, GLC, and G, along with the company’s Daimler Vans between 2016-2020, Metris vehicles and 2019-2020 Sprinter vehicles.

Mercedes-Benz indicated that they will be notifying all affected owners and updates to the software will be offered at no cost starting this April.
