The Mid-Mo Ambulance District has is getting a new Ambulance soon.
It follows the decision made by Morgan County Commissioners last year to use over $240,000 of Cares act funds to purchase the vehicle.
Mid-Mo officials say it’s a 2020 Ford F450 Traumahawk Ambulance that comes with the new ultraviolet sanitation system, and it’s being purchased from the American Response Vehicles company of Columbia.
The Mid-Mo ambulance district was formed in 1977 and serves Morgan and Moniteau counties, with bases in Versailles, Tipton, and California.
