The proverbial honeymoon and an agreement for Miller County to house Springfield Municipal inmates will apparently come to an end tomorrow morning when the county commission gets together. Highlighting the agenda will be discussion with Prosecutor Ben Winfrey to approve the termination of the agreement. The original deal called for Springfield Municipal to transport inmates to the Miller County Jail while Miller County would be responsible for delivering those inmates back to Springfield. Since then, Miller County has apparently taken on 100-percent of the transporting of the inmates which Presiding Commissioner Tom Wright calls a bad deal for the county. The commission meeting in Tuscumbia tomorrow morning begins around 8:30.
