An Eldon man faces a handful of felony charges after deputies allegedly caught him rummaging through a vehicle. Miller County Sheriff’s deputies originally responded to a call about a car in a pond. When they arrived on scene they found Leon Davenport and took him into custody. He allegedly had methamphetamine and a gun in his possession. Charges include second-degree burglary, possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a firearm, and possessing a weapon and a felony controlled substance.
