It’s a fairly light ballot in April for voters in Miller County. The ballot features 16 races with only four being contested. They include the races for a seat on the St. Elizabeth School board, the Rocky Mount Fire District board, a seat on the Eldon board of aldermen, and the mayor’s position in Iberia. There’s also a bond issue to be decided by voters in the Iberia School District and, of course, the county-wide ballot deciding the fate of a proposed one-half cent tax issue which, if approved, would be earmarked toward transportation needs. The April ballot is set for Tuesday, the 4th.
