Miller county is following in the footsteps of Camden County by declaring themselves a “Constitutional Preservation County” in Missouri.

A resolution was passed by County Commissioners that states that Miller County “declares its support for the Constitution” and that the county “Supports and respects the First and Second Amendment rights” offered by the Constitution.

Commissioners say at this time the resolution is simply a statement, but officials are working on additional legislation for stronger ordinances soon.

The Constitutional Preservation County resolution passed by a vote of 3-0.
