Telecommunications companies in 16 states, including Missouri will share more than $103 million in federal funding to help expand broadband Internet access. The U.S. Department of Agriculture announced the grants and loans through its rural development office this morning. The grants in Missouri go to two Miller County companies — Plateau Wireless in Olean and Brumley, each receiving just over $570 thousand.
