Missouri isn’t the only state raising their minimum wage when the clock strikes midnight January 1st. According to Working Economics, minimum wages are set to go up in 22 states, lifting pay for nearly seven million workers. It’s estimated that those making minimum wage will earn an additional $8.2 billion combined in 2020. Annual pay will go up between $150 and $1700 on average.
