More information is expected to be released on Monday afternoon about the discovery of the body of a missing teenage girl in Miller County. There will be a press conference at 3:00 on Monday afternoon at the Miller County Sheriff’s Office. Over the weekend, the body of 13-year old Macala Shelton was found in a wooded area at an unoccupied farm near Iberia. An autopsy is being performed to determine an exact cause of death. Shelton was reported missing on Saturday afternoon. She was last seen alive on Friday night at her home in Iberia. The Miller County Sheriff’s Office and the Missouri Highway Patrol are conducting the investigation.
