Missouri’s thirteen casinos are having another rough year. The state gaming commission’s annual report shows gross revenues are off by five percent and the number of people gambling is down 8 percent. The commission believes one of main reasons for the continued decline is related to a slow economic recovery. Charitable gambling such as bingo is also down; generating $350-thousand dollars less than they did four years ago. There are now 65 fewer bingo parlors in the state as well.
