Missouri Farmers are once again doing their part to help make sure Missouri children do not go hungry. The Missouri Farmers Care program donated $175,000 to help combat childhood hunger. They also conducted their third-annual Drive to Feed Kids, generating supplies and donations to assist food banks across the state. The campaign culminated at the state fair when the donation was officially presented. Governor Mike Parson and his wife Teresa were in attendance and helped pack meal kits for families.
Parson and the other volunteers packed 1740 backpack meal kits.
